Calder Park Drive is closed between the Calder Freeway and Glenbruar-Manchester Drive roundabout and will open again on Wednesday, July 23, after works to remove two level crossings in Calder Park are completed.
The area was closed off at 1am on June 21 to allow crews 24-hour access to the site to complete asphalt works, line-marking and tying-in works as part of the final stages of the project.
The new road bridge is being built over the Sunbury rail line to ease congestion and increase road safety.
Buses will also replace trains on the Sunbury line from first service on Monday, June 23 to last service Sunday, June 29 as crews lift in the remaining bridge beams.
Workers will continue painting the new road bridge, bridge piers, road kerbs, barriers and elevated shared path for cyclists and pedestrians as part of the around the clock works.
The nearby Holden Road level crossing will be closed permanently at 7am, Wednesday July 23 after the bridge’s completion but will still be accessible via Plumpton Road.
