A 41 year-old Burnside Heights man has been remanded in custody after he was allegedly found to be in possession of stolen items or proceeds of crime.
Police arrested the man about 10.20am on Friday, October 7 in relation to him being in possession of stolen items or proceeds of crime.
Police said the man was bailed to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court on February 27, 2023, on the condition that he did not enter the St Albans central business district and did not possess property suspected to be proceeds of crime, police said.
However, police said the man was spotted on Alfrieda Street in St Albans on Monday, October 10, allegedly in the possession of various medical items, clothing and grocery items believed to be the proceeds of crime.
He was charged and remanded in custody.
