Brooklyn man charged

Police have charged a 20-year-old Brooklyn man following a firearms incident in St Albans on Sunday.

Police said the incident occurred near a fast-food restaurant, on St Albans Road, about 8.45am.

The man has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life and has been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on September 6.

A 21-year-old Werribee woman was released pending further inquires.
