Brooklyn and Braybrook properties searched in drug haul

A Brooklyn man was cautioned as part of police operation which resulted in police seizing millions of dollars’ worth of cannabis throughout the last week.

Nearly 650 cannabis plants and approximately 10kg of dried cannabis were seized in total as part of warrants executed at residential properties across Melbourne’s west.

Properties in Brooklyn and Braybrook were among those searched.

A 60-year-old Brooklyn man was issued with a caution for possession of cannabis, with two people from Point Cook and Tarneit facing charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.
