A Brookfield man has been charged after two people were stabbed overnight in St Albans, leaving one with life-threatening injuries.
It is believed the stabbing occurred in a venue on McKechnie Street in St Albans at 11.20pm on March 7.
The Melton Crime Investigation Unit arrested the 30-year-old on Una Street and he has since been charged with intentionally causing serious injury and recklessly causing serious injury.
The Brookfield man is believed to be known to the 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman who sustained injuries, the latter of which was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
