On Saturday, June 16, 2018 about 11pm, an attempted armed robbery was committed in Station Road, Melton. At this time two male offenders approached a male victim and demanded he hand over his mobile telephone. One of the offenders was said to be armed with a baton. Investigators are seeking public assistance to identify the depicted males who they believe will be able to assist with their inquiries.

On May 28, 2018 a warrant to imprison was issued at the Sunshine Magistrates Court for Costadinos Dertilis.
He is believed to frequent the Wyndham and Brimbank areas. Police are seeking information as to his current whereabouts.
