Helen Morrissey has been appointed chief executive officer at Brimbank City Council.
Ms Morrissey, who has been serving as acting CEO since July, said she’s excited to be continuing in the position.
“I’m looking forward to working with the council to create stronger connections between council and the community and to strengthen community pride even more,” Ms Morrissey said.
“Brimbank is transforming and the city has a very important role to play as the greater west grows and evolves.
“Together with the council we will seek to create positive and lasting change.”
