Booster rate slowly increasing

The number of people who have received three COVID-19 vaccine shots in Brimbank is slowly rising.

Brimbank has had one of the lowest rates in the state in recent weeks.

Federal government data up until February 16, shows most postcodes in Brimbank is above 40 per cent triple dosed.

In the 3020 postcode, which includes Sunshine, Sunshine West, Sunshine, North and Albion between 40 and 45 per cent of the eligible population has received three doses.

In the 3012 postcode including Brooklyn, is also between 45 per cent and 50 cent for those of the eligible population who has received three doses.

In 3038, which includes Taylors Lakes, Keilor Downs and Keilor Lodge, is between 40 and 45 per cent, while the 3042 and 3036 postcodes are between 45 and 50 per cent.

The 3021 postcode of St Albans, Kings Park, Kealba and Albanvale has the lowest tripe dose percentage in Brimbank, between 35 and 40 per cent.
