The smell of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, cumin, coriander, ginger and turmeric wafted through the Braybrook Community Hub on Tuesday, September 13.
Participants in a spice blending workshop created two blends of spices and discussed which spices work best together during the morning session.
Instructor Saida Mohamed said the participants then made a lentil soup using the spice blends.
“Everybody’s been asking for the recipe,” she said.
