Students from Sydenham Hillside Primary School’s junior school council will host a bandana sale on Saturday, October 4 with all proceeds going directly to the Bell family who recently lost their home in a fire.
The school advertised the event on social media.
“On the night of Tuesday 23rd September, the Bell family — cherished members of the Sydenham Hillside primary school community — experienced a devastating house fire,” the post read.
“They have lost everything they own, and family members have sustained life-saving critical injuries and remain in hospital.”
The event will take place outside the school’s big gym at 25 Wattle Valley Drive, Hillside from 10am to 3pm.
Bandanas will be sold for $5 each.
