An 18-kilometre stretch of Ballarat Road between Footscray and Ravenhall is set to undergo maintenance works.
The state government is upgrading the section of Ballarat Road as part of its road maintenance program across the western suburbs.
These works will be delivered by Netflow and will involve asphalt resurfacing and line marking to restore the condition of the road surface.
Crews will be on site for seven nights between Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 15 excluding all Friday and Saturday nights.
Crews will be working from 8pm to 6am to minimise traffic disruption and to keep crews safe. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.
Detours will also be in place. Traffic management will be on site to assist residents and business owners in accessing their properties and helping motorists to travel around the works area safely.
Please make alternative street parking arrangements for the duration of works and plan ahead to allow extra travel time if Ballarat Road is part of your journey.
