The countdown is on the Melton Business Excellence Awards, with just four weeks left for businesses to nominate for this year’s awards.
The annual awards recognise local businesses that provide exceptional service to the City of Melton community.
Businesses that demonstrate outstanding performance, leadership, and commitment to their industry and community are encouraged to apply.
Whether it’s through outstanding customer service, innovation, sustainability, or resilience, these awards aim to inspire others to strive for excellence.
This year’s award categories include: Health, Wellness and Care, Professional Services, Visitation and Hospitality, Retail Services, Industry and Trade Services, Sustainability Excellence, Disability Inclusion Initiative, Workplace Engagement and Emerging Leadership.
The Business of the Year Award will be decided by the judging panel from the individual category winners.
The Mayoral Award is judged across all Melton Business Excellence Awards 2025 finalists and recognises outstanding performance in the judging criteria for their nominated category.
“The Melton Business Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity for our local businesses to showcase their talents to the community and raise awareness of what they do,” mayor Steve Abboushi said.
“It’s important we as a community support our local businesses to thrive, so if you know of a business that is doing amazing things, make sure you encourage them to apply for this year’s awards.”
Applications close Thursday, July 10 and winners will be announced at an awards night in September.
Melton council is also inviting businesses interested in sponsoring the awards to submit an expression of interest.
