Aunty Jeanie Mason’s Dreamtime stories art exhibition had its official launch at the Hunt Club Community Arts Centre on Thursday, July 14.

There was a great turn out to officially open the exhibition and it is expected to run until Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Aunty Jeanie Mason began making her art when she was much younger as a way to retell stories told by her own Mother, which stands as a representation of her culture as a Bakindji woman from Wilcannia who now lives in Brimbank.

Aunty Jeanie Mason recently featured in the documentary ‘Blak Voices of Brimbank,’ a collection of stories from first nations people across the North West where she goes into detail on her artwork and the meaning behind two of her larger pieces.
