Arrests uncover baby formula and vitamins stash

Two people have been arrested in Deer Park following an investigation into the alleged theft of goods including baby formula, vitamins and nappies.

Brimbank police executed a search warrant at an address on Robinsons Road about 11am, September 6.

As a result, police seized a large amount of cash, along with more than $13,000 worth of allegedly stolen items, including nappies, paw paw ointment, bio oil, vitamins, baby formula tins, underwear, and toothpaste

A 41-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were arrested at the scene.

Both have been charged with multiple counts of handling stolen goods and possessing the proceeds of crime.

They have been bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on January 14, 2019.
