Arrests made over copper thefts

Police have arrested four men in relation to a series of copper thefts from sporting and recreational reserves and schools in Brimbank, Melton and Wyndham.
A number of warrants were executed on Wednesday, April 3.
A 27-year-old Taylors Lakes man, a 33-year-old Taylors Lakes man, a 35-year-old Keilor Downs man and a 28-year-old Hillside man were arrested and have since been charged with theft.
All four have been remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 16.
Police are reviewing all recent copper thefts looking for similarities in offending.
