Ardeer man arrested

A 20-year-old man from Ardeer has been charged along with two other men following an alleged affray and assaults which occurred in Melbourne on Sunday, August 31.

It is alleged a group assaulted another group in Kings Domain about 5pm.

Detectives arrested the three men in William Street, Melbourne about 3.20pm on September 2 in relation to the matter.

The 20-year-old man from Ardeer has been charged with violent disorder, affray and discharge missile.

A 23-year-old man from Mooroolbark has been charged with violent disorder, affray and assault by kicking.

The Ardeer and Mooroolbark men were bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 10.

A 32-year-old man from Balwyn has been charged with violent disorder, affray, assault by kicking, discharge missile and other offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
