Firefighters responded to a grassfire on Ballarat Road in Ardeer on the afternoon of Tuesday 17 February.
Crews arrived on scene to find a grass and scrub fire burning across an area approximately 100m by 200m.
A community warning was issued for smoke in the area and police and paramedics were on scene to assist.
The fire was deemed under control at 4.23pm, according to Vic Emergency.
