All invited to VU open days

Victoria University (VU) is welcoming prospective students, friends and family to three open days in 2024.

VU is expanding its open day events to include its Sunshine Campus in addition to events held at Footscray Park and its City Tower campus on Little Lonsdale Street.

Each campus will be bustling as VU demonstrates the diversity of its courses, facilities, and student activities.

Footscray Park and Sunshine open day events are set for Sunday, August 18, and the city campus open day will be held on Sunday, August 25.

The Sunshine open day will provide visitors with an exclusive look at VU’s trade training centre, construction futures, and the Sunshine Skills Hub.

These facilities include largescale construction training spaces, purpose-built innovation zones, 3D printing facilities, a high-tech nursing simulation lab and a paramedics lab that is equipped with an ambulance pod.

At Footscray Park visitors can tour the sports lab, TV studio and engineering labs, while at the City Tower campus they can experience the sky-high student lounge and public clinics offering

hair, beauty, massage, osteopathy, and dermal services, each with hands-on displays and demonstrations.

Visitors will have access to hundreds of stands where they can interact with lecturers, current students, representatives from partner organisations and participate in interactive workshops,

presentations and panel sessions.
