UPDATE
Police have charged two men after a $4 million drugs seizure in Cairnlea early Wednesday morning.
Sunshine officers were on patrol in Wattlegrove Road when they spotted a suspicious vehicle around 1.20am and a man under the rear of the car.
A 3.5 kg package of methamphetamine was found under the seat, and six mobile phone, after a search of the vehicle.
The street value of the methamphetamine has been estimated to be up to $4 million.
A 28-year-old Taiwanese national and a 24-year-old Chinese national were arrested at the scene and have been charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of a drug of dependence.
The duo was remanded in custody to appear in the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 13).
