A lasting shelf life

The Deer Park Library is writing a new chapter, with the celebration of its 30th birthday this Thursday.

To mark the occasion, the community is encouraged to join in on the celebration of the milestone, with cake games and more.

The day will feature, birthday cake, a birthday hamper winner, face painting, balloon animals, sausage sizzle and a quick tour of the Library’s new maker space.

The birthday celebrations will take place on Thursday, September 28, from 1-3.30pm at the Deer Park Library, located on 4 Neale Road Deer Park.

Located next to the Brimbank Central Shopping Centre, the Deer Park Library has been offering locals quiet, individual study rooms, collections in community languages, a toy library, and an outside children’s play area.

Brimbank council is calling on all corners of the community to join the fun, with the event welcoming children and families, young people and adults.
