The many faces of Brimbank, seen through a lens focused on cultural diversity, will go on exhibition next month.
Sunshine North’s River Valley Estate will host the first-ever Humans of Brimbank photo exhibition.
Running from July 22 to August 16, the exhibition captures the region’s cultural diversity and celebrates locals from all walks of life.
Talented snapper Mehak Sheikh (pictured) says her display of about 15 photographs showcases the colourful characters of Brimbank, people from such far-flung places as Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, India and East Timor.
“The aim is to raise the profile of the west and show we have amazing people here,” she said.
The exhibition is open from 11am to 5pm, Saturdays through to Wednesdays.
