Fresh produce and a bevy of arts and crafts will be a regular fixture on the picturesque banks of Lake Caroline.
The Caroline Springs Rotary will be holding its first makers and farmers market from 9am-1pm on December 1.
Rotary Caroline Springs market chair Ross Butterworth said the launch will be a day to remember.
“A big day is planned for our launch with a number of local producers already signed up with fresh honey, freerange eggs, cheese, olives, fruits, quality meat growers,” Mr Butterworth said.
“We’re encouraging everyone to come along and enjoy the fresh produce, or find an early Christmas gift.
“The CFA will be on hand providing details of their operations and a range of food trucks will be offering their wares.”
The Melton council has approved a permit for 60 stalls and Mr Butterworth said there’s room for everyone.
“If the stall holders make it, bake it, grow or produce it, we are inviting them to attend,” he said.
“Our Facebook page has lit up with interest, so we’re expecting a significant turnout.”
The markets are on the first and third Saturday of each month in the north east corner of the reserve, near the corner of Garretty Road and The Esplanade.
