Police appeal for assistance after Taylors Lakes burglary

Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Taylors Lakes last week.

Police believe two men kicked open the front door of a Salamander Drive home just before 1.30pm on Friday, May 18.

The two burglars had been dropped off by a third offender, driving a grey Audi Q7 four-wheel drive believed to have false number plates.

The burglars stole a jewellery box containing a large amount of jewellery and fled the house after an alarm was activated.

The three offenders are perceived to be of Caucasian appearance and aged in their late teens to early 20s.

The driver of the Audi is described as being 175cms tall, with a skinny build and brown hair.
