Brimbank council is inviting local schools and early learning centres to take part in the 2023 Spring Veggie Seedlings in Schools Program.
The program offers vegetable and herb seedlings to schools and early learning centres at no cost. These seedlings can be used to create fantastic, interactive food gardens.
Each school/ early learning centre will receive:
– Approximately 10 punnets of mostly veggies and some herbs.
– A random selection of veggies and herbs.
– Their seedlings delivered in approximately mid-October. Participants will be notified a couple of weeks prior to the delivery date.
The program is open to schools and early learning centres within Brimbank. Interest can be registered by emailing: environment@brimbank.vic.gov.au and providing the name of the school/ early learning centre, address, and a contact person’s name and number before 5pm Monday, September 18.
