A 25-year-old Sunshine West man was robbed, bitten and punched in a incident last month.
Police said the man was driving a silver Honda Jazz along Maribyrnong Road in Maribyrnong about 3.30pm on December 30 when he was rear-ended by a blue Audi hatch.
The driver of the Audi approached the man and after a conversation, allegedly assaulted the Sunshine West man.
The victim was punched, bitten and thrown against nearby vehicles before his phone was stolen.
The Audi driver is described as bald, with a sleeve tattoo on his left arm and tattoos on his lower back.
He was wearing a gold chain, Rabbitohs NRL black shorts and a blue Deus T-shirt at the time.
