Brooklyn: Police yet to identify pedestrian killed on Geelong Road

A man who was hit and killed by a truck in Brooklyn two weeks ago has not yet been identified.

The man, believed to be between 30 and 50 years old, was killed while crossing Geelong Road about 1.45am on February 17.

It was the same day that 23-year-old coffee shop manager Josie Edden was hit and killed by a garbage truck while crossing Collins Street in the CBD.

The unidentified man was seen walking past the Half Moon Caravan Park and across the Millers Road intersection before he was killed.

“He was also captured on CCTV walking west along the southern footpath of Geelong Road, continuing on past the fast-food outlets,” police spokeswoman Natalie Webster said.
