UPDATE: A man was seriously injured following a collision on the Western Ring Road near the Sunshine Avenue exit in Kealba at midday on Friday.
All lanes were closed Greensborough-bound, and traffic was diverted over Sunshine Avenue and back onto the Ring Road.
There are reports the man injured was a motorcyclist or pedestrian, but the Keilor Downs Highway Patrol are yet to confirm.
He was taken to hospital Two ambulances and more than six police officers were at the scene when the Star Weekly attended.
