A pedestrian was killed on the Calder Freeway after being struck by a truck in Keilor North on Thursday morning.
Investigators have been told the man was walking on the outbound lanes of the Calder Freeway when he was hit by the truck just after 5am.
Paramedics attempted to revive the man but he died at the scene.
The Calder Freeway is expected to be blocked for several hours.
It’s the third pedestrian death in Brimbank in just over two months with two men in their 50s dying on May 21 and 22 respectively following incidents on Ballarat Road.
