Seven Brimbank teenagers charged over stabbing of Wyndham Vale man

Seven Brimbank teenagers have been charged with assault and affray-related offences following a stabbing at Sunshine railway station on April 24.

Detectives from Transit Crime Investigation and Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit executed a number of search warrants on Tuesday morning in relation to an alleged stabbing, with nine people arrested.

Investigators have been told that a number of people were involved in an altercation about 3pm that resulted in a 23-year-old Wyndham Vale man being taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious injuries. 

Timoteo Timoteo, a 19-year-old from St Albans, was charged with intentionally  causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury and other assault-related charges. 

He faced the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon and was remanded in custody. 

Two 17-year-old boys, one from St Albans and the other from Sunshine West, and a 15-year-old Sunshine North boy were remanded in custody to appear at a children’s court at a later date. 

Two 16-year-old boys from Melton, two boys, aged 16 and 15, from Derrimut and a 14-year-old boy from Sunshine North were bailed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
