New crew feeling the beat at Sydenham studio

A fresh style of dance will hit Brimbank and the north west when Beatbak Dance Productions opens its Sydenham studio on May 31.

The new dance school will offer classes for all ages in hip-hop, street and commercial jazz.

Director and head choreographer Kyla Grech says the studio will give people the chance to pursue an active hobby in a family-friendly environment.

“I have been in the performing arts industry for 25 years, 10 of which have been dedicated to hip-hop … it’s a real passion of mine.”

Highly-trained choreographers will teach students the latest urban hip-hop techniques, encouraging them to compete with dance crews in local competitions. For more details, phone 8087 0602.
