Sunshine West: Toddler dies after being run over in driveway

UPDATE: A three-year-old girl has died after being run over in a driveway in Sunshine West.

The toddler was seriously injured at a home on Tuesday afternoon and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital with head injuries.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the child was in a critical condition and was not conscious when paramedics arrived on the scene shortly before 1pm.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the girl later died in hospital.

Police have confirmed a car was involved in the incident and that it had taken place in a driveway in Sunshine West.
