Attempted abduction in Sunshine

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attempted abduction of a woman in Sunshine on September 26.

The woman, 19, was waiting for a bus on Monash Street when a dark hatchback went past about 7.30pm.

The same car went past again and stopped.

The driver got out and tried to drag the woman towards the car.

Police want to speak to the drivers of two cars in the area at the time.

The offender is described as of Asian appearance, mid-30s to 40s, about 170cm tall with short black hair and a black moustache.

He wore a black suit jacket and dark pants.
