Great mix worth jumping about at Ardeer South Primary School

Pupils from Ardeer South Primary School such as Tonga, Ediz, Mai,
Shokufa, Nikki, Jana and Loisi wore traditional costumes for
last Tuesday’s International Day.

The school has children from more than
20 different nationalities and celebrates that diversity every two
years.

“We’re a multinational school, and proud of it,’’ principal John
Evans said.

‘‘We get the kids to dress in national costumes, and we have
a range of songs, dances and plays to represent the different
nationalities in our community.”
