PUPILS from St Albans Heights Primary School enjoyed going behind the scenes of the Victorian Opera’s production of Puss in Boots last week.
Catherine, 11 (pictured), and her fellow students met costumed characters and got a sneak peak of the family show featuring the famous fairytale cat.
The visit was part of Victorian Opera’s education program, designed to connect pupils and families with music and the performing arts.
Education manager Melissa Harris said the Spanish opera, composed by Xavier Montsalvatge, would give families an appreciation of opera without compromising the art.
Puss in Boots is at the Arts Centre Melbourne on Saturday.
