Rockbank fair for all to discover

Meet up with neighbours and find out who your councillors and council officers are at a community fair next week.

Residents can learn more about Melton council’s work and share ideas at the Rockbank community fair and movie night.

There will be face-painting, novelty races, a barbecue, food trucks, skateboard demonstrations, taekwondo and dance workshops, and music. There’ll also be a screening of comedy-drama

Eddie the Eagle at 8.30pm.

Melton mayor Sophie Ramsey encouraged residents to come along and join the conversation about ways to improve the municipality.

“Rockbank is one of our fastest growing communities, so it’s important we hear from residents to ensure we understand community perspectives as we continue to plan for the future of our city,” Cr Ramsey said.

The event will run from 6pm on Friday, February 17, at the Ian Cowie Reserve, Westcott Parade, Rockbank.
