Taylors Lakes Secondary College drama students are set to hit the prom, but with a twist.
Described as a mysterious comedy, TLSC’s latest production, Take Me To The Prom, has been an all-school affair.
Rehearsals for this year’s production began back in February with a cast of nine plus six keyboard players, while students from all year levels have helped paint props and sets at Sunday working bees.
The production is split into two acts and there will be three shows, on August 24, 25 and 26.
Year 10 student Katerina Christodoulou will perform the song Warrior, which she wrote and composed. A production camp was held in early June to bring the acting team together.
“It allowed students to be immersed in the theatrical experience,” school production co-ordinator and drama teacher Livia Fasulo said. Tickets are $18, children $15.
