All the stars of children’s television have come out to play for the Nickelodeon Festival at Watergardens.

The kids’ festival, which runs until Friday, is part of myriad activities on at the centre over the school holidays.

Families can meet characters including SpongeBob SquarePants, Paw Patrol, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all performing live shows daily.

Prizes ranging from Nickelodeon prize packs to exclusive meet-and-greets with Streat Vibes celebrity performers are on offer.

“I am very proud and thrilled to be representing Australia at the Eurovision song contest in May,” Im says. “The first time I perform the Australian song entry publicly will be at Watergardens … so please come along – my journey to Sweden starts at Watergardens.”

Im will be one of three headlining acts at the show, joining Johnny Ruffo and X-factor’s dynamic duo Jess and Matt. Local performers will also showcase their talents.

Centre manager Joe Galea says the festivities will see out the school holidays in style.

“This is our third year hosting this event and every year it gets bigger and better,” he says.

A Streat Vibes fireworks display starts at 7pm.
