Mamma mia, Italy returns to menu at St Albans North Primary

All the flavours and traditions of Italy were celebrated at St Albans North Primary School last week.

Grade 2 pupils Jodeci, Skye, Charlette and Rhys (pictured) joined in Italian Day activities as the school celebrated the reintroduction of Italian as part of its curriculum.

Students and staff were encouraged to wear green, white and red for the Italian flag before enjoying a host of uniquely Italian activities, including games such as tombola and bocce.

And naturally, pizza and spaghetti bolognese was on the lunch menu.

To round off the day, some Italian comedians paid a visit, and put on performances to delight the entire school.
