Change the way you think

Get on the Highway to Success at a series of personal development workshops run by the Human Resource Centre at Caroline Springs library on July 25-26. Run by hypnotherapist/psychotherapist Bryan Perry, this will be an interactive process designed for people working through difficulties created by rigid behavioural habits. Learn skills in testing, challenging and breaking free of unhealthy ways of thinking and behaving, using a non-medical approach to treating ailments, including anxiety and depression, and suitable for people working in this area and who are interested in personal growth and development.

Discount to desex pets

Brimbank pet owners have until the end of the month to get a discount for desexing their pets as part of National Desexing Month. It’s a legal requirement in Brimbank for all domestic dogs and cats over three months old to be desexed, microchipped and registered. Desexed cats and dogs are less likely to suffer from reproductive- related cancers and other diseases. They’re also less likely to roam and be impounded, injured or get into fights. Two Brimbank vets – Petvet in Sunshine and Village Vets in Delahey – offer discounts during July.
