Race in for family fun

A free night of family fun is set to run on Saturday December 9 as the Melbourne Greyhounds opens its race track for an evening of dining, cheering and partying!

Family Nights at ‘The Meadows’ are the Melbourne Greyhounds own unique way to say pop along and visit us. Over many years, these nights have evolved into highly anticipated community gatherings and become a beloved tradition among many local families and

community members. It’s free to attend.

Starting at 6pm, families will be treated to a wide array of complimentary activities, food and entertainment, including a magician show, face painting and the chance to bounce around on giant inflatables. The first 200 children to arrive will also receive a free ‘I Love the Dogs’

showbag, briming with surprises and tasty treats. There is also the chance to walk away as a winner in the $3000 prize draw.

Families will be spoiled for taste with free carnival snacks, along with food and beverage vans for those chasing dinner. The City View Bistro will also be open. Reservations can be made at melbournegreyhounds.org.au.

Along with the entertainment and food, families will also have the opportunity pat a greyhound. The Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) volunteers will be present, offering the chance to interact with these ‘greyt’ pets.

To find out more information visit melbournegreyhounds.org.au or call (03) 9355 5222.
