Night walk

What creatures wake up when you go to bed? Join Brimbank council for a guided night walk along Taylors Creek on Tuesday, April 9, from 6.30pm to learn about the nocturnal wildlife living along the creek. Meeting point will be provided upon booking.

Tax essentials

Learn about the tax essentials for small businesses at iHarvest CoWorking, 301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine on Wednesday, April 3, 10am-noon. Staff from the Australian Taxation Office will be on hand to discuss business structures, tax rates, annual and quarterly reporting requirements and more. Bookings required.

Free playgroup

Children aged up to five can join in a new free playgroup at Sunshine and Deer Park libraries on Tuesdays from April 30-June 25. The playgroup is run by qualified early childhood educators and pre-service teachers from Victoria University. Sessions run at Deer Park library, 4 Neale Road, from 10am-noon, and at Sunshine library, 301 Hampshire Road, from 1-3pm.

Sip ‘n’ stitch

Join Sydenham library’s Sip ‘n’ Stitch  group on Thursday, April 11, 10-11.30am to work on your craft projects while having a cuppa and a chat. At 1 Station Street, Taylors Lakes.
