Melbourne’s west through the lens

If you have a great vantage point of Melbourne’s west and an eye for photographic detail, then get busy snapping and upload to a new community slide show and music installation set to pop up in Sunshine.

Dwelling People – City of Light, Spirit or Place will be on display at the Sunshine Art Spaces Gallery in City Place from February 19 to March 15.

Landscape pics, shots of suburban backyards or just intimate images of flora and fauna – like Megan O’Shea’s entry (above) – will be gratefully received.

Sunshine band The Legless Lizards will provide a soundscape for the installation, which has been inspired by Brimbank’s multicultural community and volcanic western plains.
