Two charged after Braybrook shooting

A man will face court today following a shooting in Braybrook yesterday morning.

The 26-year-old Braybrook man was arrested by police after a 32-year-old Point Cook man was shot in the leg.

The Braybrook man was charged with intentionally cause serious injury, possession of a firearm, use of firearm and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He will face Sunshine Magistrate’s Court today.

Another man, also a 26-year-old from Braybrook, was charged with firearm and drug possession offences, however these charges did not relate to the Braybrook shooting

Emergency services were called to the McLennan Street property just before 7.30am.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
