Dog’s disappearance ‘devastates’ elderly owner

A missing dog has left her elderly owner “devastated”.

Cookie, a small, white female poodle, disappeared from the front yard of a Station Avenue home in St Albans.

Her owner, 91, has been in hospital for a cancer operation, and is desperate for her return.

Posters have been put up in the area, and the council and lost dogs’ home have been contacted.

Cookie is micro-chipped, and a financial reward has been offered for her return.
