The many cultures of a St Albans school will be reflected in beautiful colour this week when Movelle Primary School holds an art show on Thursday, from 5pm.
Teacher Elena Kostadinovic says that with so many of its students coming from non-English-speaking backgrounds, it’s an important event for the school.
“This art show is a way we can acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of cultures and heritage in our school. It’s also a way we can encourage our students to express their individuality through art,” she said. “Our students are passionate about their artwork and this art show is also a means to recognise their hard work and achievements.
It would be wonderful to see the wider community of St Albans come along to this special night.”
The family-friendly show will also have a colouring-in competition with great prizes, arts and crafts, door prizes, a choir performance, sausage sizzle and plenty of other treats.
