Historic harvester to hang around

A Sunshine icon is set to become part of the decor at Brimbank council’s new community and civic centre at Sunshine.

The harvester machine, which was previously on display in the foyer of the former library, is being readied for its relocation to the new Hampshire Road centre.

The machine was cleaned and its familiar coloured paintwork retouched last week by Sunshine artist Robert Jackson and signwriter Mitch Ragip.

The harvester machine will be hung from the ceiling at the new civic centre, which is due to open next year.
