EDFL: Dye cast as league umpires director

The Essendon District Football League has hired Brendan Dye as umpires director.

Dye, who climbed through the EDFL ranks to umpire TAC Cup and then 150 VFL games, is also the field umpires’ coach.

The umpires have returned to training at Fairbairn Park and will train there for about a month until they move to Windy Hill.
