SBS will be changing their frequency as part the final adjustment in Australia’s switch to digital-only TV.
From today the Mt Dandenong tower used to broadcast the SBS service in Melbourne will change its frequency and viewers will need to retune their digital TV, set-top box or digital TV recorder to find the channel again.
These moves will free up broadcasting spectrum so that it can be used for new services such as mobile broadband.
For more information or for help in retuning, visit the retune website www.digitalready.gov.au/retune, or call the Digital Ready Information Line on 1800 20 10 13.
