The real Sunshine Eagles stood up and bounced back from their horror mercy rule loss to the Newport Rams in the Baseball Victoria summer league division 1 western suburbs derby.
The Eagles gained revenge over the Rams with a 3-0 victory in the mid-week clash at Melbourne Ball Park to register their second win of the season.
They backed up on Saturday with the same desire and effort but narrowly fell short 6-5 to the Doncaster Dragons.
