PORT MELBOURNE: Mongols bikies club raided

Police have raided a property linked to the Mongols bikies club in Port Melbourne on Friday morning.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said Echo taskforce detectives, assisted by special operations group, searched a property in Nott Street at 6am on Friday.

She told Fairfax Media that “at this stage, police are searching the property, and no arrests have been made”.

Witnesses say heavily armed police arrived in Nott Street ordering a man named ‘Shane’ to come out of a grey garage.

A man crawled out and detectives from Taskforce Echo began searching the property.

Neighbours told 3AW News the garage is used to repair motorcycles and they seen people coming and going at all hours of the day.
